The recent LCC Weekend at Summerplace Game Reserve was a winner! Thirteen riders attended and, apart from the great accommodation and food, the trails did not disappoint.
Because it was a long weekend, some of the group opted for the additional night, allowing for us to do six rides over the weekend. Morning rides were between 2-2.5 hours long with various trail skill options (including ‘go arounds’, walking obstacles and just ‘sending it’), so everyone was catered for.

After arriving on Friday (and a quick spin to check that the bikes were ready for the weekend), Saturday and Sunday started with pre-ride eats and coffee and then the longer ride of the day. After a shower, it was time for early lunch and then relaxing time. The Sundowner ride was a super-chilled affair and the winter bushveld sunsets are just stunning. For those staying the extra night, Monday morning was a chilled ride through Aloe forests and bushveld.

One of the group was an E-Group rider when she arrived. She left with new confidence and a commitment to up-skilling and up-grading and is now a D-group rider.
The only negative thing on the whole weekend (for everyone) was having to load the bikes in the car and head back to the big city.
